The Dave Goldberg Scholars Program honors the remarkable life and legacy of Dave Goldberg by providing exceptional KIPP and Peninsula Bridge graduates with financial support, one-on-one mentorship, and internship opportunities throughout college. In addition, we work hand-in-hand with graduates to help them find their first jobs.
Improving education and career outcomes for young people is an investment in our shared future.
That’s why the Goldberg Scholarship goes beyond traditional scholarships to offer wraparound support for low-income students at every stage of their college journey. We’re proud of the difference this makes; more than 90% of our first class of Goldberg Scholars have graduated, and are now employed or in grad school—which is well above the 11% national average of low-income college graduates.
Our Goldberg Scholars prove that when you provide more holistic support to motivated students, graduation rates skyrocket.
KIPP Public Schools is a network of 280 public charter schools with 15,000 educators and 175,000 students and alumni. Their mission is to provide joyful and academically excellent schools to prepare students with the skills and confidence to pursue the paths they choose.
